MudRocks! I am a local artist offering handcrafted doumbek and djembe style drums constructed from stoneware clay and high-fired for durability and sound quality. Each drum is hand-carved and glazed, so no two drums are alike. The drums are made with goat skin heads from South America and have relatively wide range of tones, from the deeper bass (Dum) to the higher end (Tek). I also offer a wide variety of other pottery items such as vases, sake sets, and teapots. Rocks are my other passion. I offer unique gemstone jewelry and specialize in using natural and raw stones, as well as geodes. Recently, I have combined my two passions, pottery and jewelry, and now offer jewelry made with handmade clay beads and precious metal clay.
